DESIGN YOUR OWN CLINIC
Lanette and Shane will be offering customized clinics for you and your friends. Get together with 5 or more people for the weekend and design the clinic you want. We will offer one and two hour sessions through out the two days at the Tanner Time Training Center and Specialized Tack. You get to pick 8 hours each day of what you and your friends what to learn. Here are the sessions you can choice from:
1.Saddle Fit 2 hour session - 2. Bits and what they do 2 hour session - 3. Jackpots with Tanner Time and video review -each jackpot and review of Tanner Time and Video 2 Hour session, you choice the number of jackpots you want to have. 4. Barrel exercises 2 hour session - 5. Horsemanship and why it is needed in the barrel pattern 2 hour session - 6. Barrel Pattern theory 2 hour session - 7. The Mental Game in completion 2 hour session - 8. Barrel Pattern slow work (slow things down and get it right) 2 hour session 9. Alley and lining up the 1st barrel 2 hour session - 10. Communication with your horse 2 hour session 11. Tanner Time segments, you choose the barrel segment in the pattern you choose to work with Tanner Time. With Tanner Time we can help you with just one or two segments of your barrel pattern and you don't have to wear out your horse working on the whole pattern. 4 hour sessions -12. Pole Bending - 13. Round Corral training for the Barrel horse. You can suggest and come up with other things you would like to learn about. Arena Directions: 28724 County Road 18, Rocky Ford, CO - Off of US Hwy 50 take county road 18 south over the railroad tracks – Go about 1 mile on your East side of the road.
From Hwy 350 out of Trinidad to La Junta, after you go thru Timpas (very small) go North at the Rocky Ford Exit, When you get to Hwy 10 go Left until you come to Road 18 and then turn right or go North around 3 miles or so, the Training Center will be on your right side after you cross over a small canal.
From Hwy 10 turn on County Rd. 18 north (1st county road as you get close to Rocky Ford) the Training Center will be on your right side after you cross over a small canal.

We had 60 runs Saturday which was a blessed turn out with our limited parking and we had some great runs and some fast times. Winning the 1st barrel race was MCKAYLA VASHUS on Ace with a 17.817 to start the day. The ground here at the Tanner Time Training Center was fast and in great condition to set a new record and during the 2nd race the 12th runner and bottom of the ground because we drag every four runners Ann and Bully Winkle entered the arena. I knew they could set a new record, because I had seen Ann and Bully win many a barrel race the last two years. As I watched the Tanner Time timer I knew it when she turned the 3rd barrel and the timer was at 13 seconds a record was going to be set. After 12 years of timing with the Tanner Time system you know how to read the segments of the barrel pattern to know when it is going to be a fast time. If you have purchased a Tanner Time report from the TTC you know what the straights are on the Tanner Time Report and Ann and Bully set a record with the fastest straights of 11.414 total straight times. This horse can run he had a 4.017 run out time the closest one to this time was Misty Lambert on Rambo with a 4.083 run out time. This was a great Tanner Time Report to compare with when you want to know if your horse has it or not to make the big times. Ann and Bully Winkle have given the Tanner Time Training Center a new fast time to compare every run here by. Tanner Time Reports and videos of all the runs are always available at the TTC for you to purchase from past runs and present runs. Come join the fun and run at the TTC and try to set a new record time and join our wall of champions.
