Lynn McKenzie & Tanner Time Advanced Barrel Racing Lab 501
March 28-30th 2008 results

Wow what a weekend, we had a fast time of 17.783 set by Crystal Logan of Glendale, AZ

I wanted to tell you that after coming back from the March Lab with Lynn & Tanner Time, at your training center, my horse Sarie has been running very well. We first ran a 17.7 on a regulation course at an arena  that we had never been able to run faster than a 17.9 before. Than the next week we ran a 17.4 at the same arena same course. Praise the Lord!  We also ran a 17.4 at another arena with a 50 ft score and took the whole 1D by ourselves. This weekend we will be going to the NBHA Finals for AZ and we will be receiving our district awards.  Sarie and I are the year's 1D Open winner and the Senior 1D winner also. It has been fun.
 Love you guys,
Crystal

We with stood the cold on Friday to work out in the arena with the students, on the barrel pattern and Murray was able to stay in our nice new building store and classroom combination to go over the Tanner Times and video of their 1st runs.  We also had a guest speaker Judy Wardrope from Canada go over the "Ten Conformation Myths" with a power point presentation.  She worked with the students and Lyn on Friday and Saturday to help the horses find that perfect barrel pattern to work with their horses conformation.

Saturday was a beautiful day and the students worked really hard in and out of the arena working with Tanner Time.  We also worked on barrel exercises outside of the arena, lining up the 1st barrel, the science of the barrel pattern  and then ending the day with a second jackpot.

Sunday was a little on the cold side first thing in the morning but, we all gathered together in a nice warm room inside the store and had a wonderful church service with Lynn and Murray, many were blessed.  After church we split up into groups 1/2 the students stayed with Murray to watch their runs from Saturday nights jackpot and go over their Tanner Times.  The other students went back to the arena with Lynn and Lanette to work on the barrel pattern.  We finished the lab with the final jackpot won by Angie Hoss and her horse Angus, who have gone on to win big barrel races for three weeks straight.  We are so proud of her!
